Custom Shop

Custom Fire Art is a full service company, assisting in the design, venting, mechanics and the overall operation of gas and wood fireplaces. Our goal is to help create a unique custom fire from a vision or simple illustration and help mold it into an artistic display of fire.

Our primary specialty which has been featured throughout architectural and design magazines, is our carbon steel fireplaces also called fire sculptures. This is a unique look that can be incorporated into any interior design. By using Carbon Steel, Copper, and Stainless Steel we have endless opportunities to create a customized personable fireplace for your home or business.

Artist Jim Butler fabricates each fireplace as well as custom doors and mantles, including our unique pocket door that allows you to slide the door away and into the wall, unseen for a true open hearth appearance. We also design and fabricate custom burners of all shapes and sizes to fit the design requirements of any fireplace. All of our fireplaces can be equipped with simple manual controls to computer operated, one touch smart controls.
